Finally a Thai restaurant that meets my expectations! I honestly been looking for somewhere that makes really good green curry. A lot of restaurants added TOO much coconut milk or not enough, but this place makes it JUST right. Don't be fool by the low ratings for this place, it's honestly not bad at all and depends what you order.
We ordered:
Green Curry (lunch special): So worth it, came with a choice of thai ice tea or salad, had egg roles, rice, soup. Green curry was SO good, loved every bite, a bit of spice.
Soft Shell Crab Noodles: Delicious, the crab was crunchy and noodles went well with everything. Recommend the fried rice with the soft shell crab.
Spicy Thai Noodle Soup: OK, not the best, wasn't too tasty and they give more bean sprouts than noodles. Pass.
Overall, great place and prices are super cheap and portions are big. Worth it! -

I ordered pickup from this restaurant on Eat24, but the restaurant name was under "A Taste of Vietnam" so be aware that it's the same as Noodle Bar and Grill. I got super confused when I went to the actual location.
Five Spice Chicken Garlic Noodle: The garlic noodles were pretty good and the five spice chicken was okay. The food portions are kind of small for the large price tag. It looked like there were a lot of noodles but the noodles were sitting on a big bed of bean sprouts.
There were only two tables in the restaurant when I stopped by for lunch and the lighting was really dark. The food appears to be decent and it seems to be a prime delivery food option but it's a little pricey for the quality and quantity you're getting especially in Chinatown. -

I was nervous to try this place cause when we came in, nobody was in the restaurant.
Surprisingly, the food was amazing. The only thing I would complain is the small portion; however, price is reasonable. The servers were nice but a bit slow. We tried pad thai and mango sticky rice and a combo bento. Not sure if this is a Vietnamese or Thai or Japanese or Korean place because they have all the food you need. The food came out very fast and tasted really flavorful. Definitely will come back -

DELIVERY REVIEW:
(called "Ratcha Thai" on Eat24 app)
Speedy delivery!
Ratcha has quickly become my go-to delivery place when I'm craving Thai food or I just don't feel like cooking. This place is by far the quickest delivery I've had. I live on near the Embarcadero side of North Beach, which can be a little tricky to get to, but Ratcha has delivered my past few orders in only 25 minutes! I love that.
The spring rolls are excellent. I've had both the fried version (veggie) and the un-fried version (with shrimp). The fried version comes with 5 pieces, un-fried with 6. The peanut sauce included with the un-fried spring rolls is addicting! The "healthy" chicken with garlic noodle was a little on the fatty side, but still tasty. The best dishes are the pad thai and pad see ew.
Ratcha has yet to let me down. I'm certainly a loyal fan and will undoubtedly be ordering delivery again soon-- that's a fact! -

This place has excellent service and amazing food! It is authentic and if you can make it through the traffic, I'd highly recommend.
